Waaaw !! Elshopo's catalog is now ready !! If you were wondering why there was absolutely no news updated here for over 6 monthes, here's the answer ! We've spent one year sorting all Elshopo projects (Prints on crepes, happenings, printing machines...), and selecting all the craziest pictures we had, adding extra texts writen by curator firends from different countries (belgium, france, japan...). So here's 240 hyper-stuffed pages, including many amazing making of sequences in the traditional Elshopo style, and a 16 pages silkscreen manual, wich was silkscreened itself and integrated in the book. We can just say that it kicks ass, kicks silk screen's greasy booty and also little pink tighty shorts. So just hurry up to get it on our shop for 35 euros !! (postage included for anywhere). All the book is 50% french 50% english.
 And now, we're taking time to organise a few shows and presentations :
- may saturday the 9th in Grenoble at OUI art center. Flyer with map
- may sunday the 14the form 19:00 to 22:00 in Paris, cooking performance the design library OFR with the magazine Yummy. It's 20, rue Dupetit-Thouars (Carreau du Temple), 75003 Paris. Metro is Temple, Republique, or Filles du Calvaire

Elshopo Workshop in Yokohama
Last week during the exhibition Peace-Works in Yokohama, we held this T-shirts printing workshop. 15 challengers had to draw their favorites super heros on celulloids paper, then we've printed them in the simpliest technological way, on very cutty T-shirts and bags. |

On the fifth of July we hold an exhibition in Tokyo, Kouenji with Loworks. As Loworks is a very talented graphic designer, it was a good occasion to present a serie of new cool posters and elegants T-shirts. We could also enjoy a printing show on pancakes by Louis Shopo and a special poster edition by Loworks printed live. You can have a look to the article published in the japanese magazine Hidden Champion (japanese).
The next step was in Shibuya on the 20th, during an all-night party. Elshopo has printed quite roughly a serie of bag that someguy may be using now somewhere in tokyo... Amateurhythm v.2 : Infos, plan. |

DICKHEADMANRECORS & ELSHOPO IN BERLIN
Elshopo invited Dickheadman Records in Berlin for the national day, 14th of Jully. They organised a performance in a little eccenrtic club in Kreuzberg called Madame Claude. The concert was organised like a 2 days print-and-music workshop, while we've printed CD, T-shirts and other interresting stuffs using the new "sérigraphic-guitar". Real collectors. Real art to be discovered in our shop!! |

| Elshopo worked hard to print new cools T-shirts this summer. Big thanks to the skatepark Felem situated in japanese countriside, these guys also have a printing atelier, and they are very cool! Thanks to Tsuyoshi and Ziko! So, from left to right : keep DIY with this printing manual in a T-shirt,using an ink that changes from transparent to purple with the sun. The Anab and Chienpo T-shirt uses only 1 color, but may be coloried following the numbers in the cute illustration. Then 2 T-shirts made with the collective atelier SDW in berlin : Japan Brillo box and Chienpo's face in rose. Textile's Body are american apparel for these models. Then check out the bretzel t-shirt for girls. Very haute couture. It is cut and reassembled again to be very sexy, with these crazy saussages and Bretzel from Berlin. |

This summer, if you go to the "rue Saint Anne" in Paris (Opera) to eat sushi, let's check if the chef is not a malaisian or if rice is not made in italy. Then let's go to the number 73 of the street where Elshopo has made a screen printed window display. This cheezy mix of cultures is gonna fade perfectly in the street's background. Experienced sightseer will enjoy an unbridled use of french or a subtile decorative japanese.

Launched in the middle of a football game, you will have to destroy the stadium and the players in the shortest time as possible with your laser gun.

LYON ART BIENNALE 2007
Our engineers in junkfood were on the move in Lyon (FR) for an emergency operation at Vedutta, a parallele event of the art biennale held in the center of the city.
The crowd were huge to test a new receipe of silk-printed pancake more flashy than ever.
After two hours of food printing, the pancake supplies were missing and we had to go on the printing on paper to deliver the people some nice chocolate poster, mixed with fluos water ink!!

NEW SILK-SCREEN MACHINE. PRESENTATION AT SLICK ART FAIR 2007, PARIS.
Elshopo is proud to present his new silk-screen machine, during a risky food-printing-show with miso sauce on japonese mochis. Our shopo-yakuza were helped by the chef Madoka Niina to run a borderline japonese cook-shop were they experimented the machine in some extreme conditions. And it works!! This new edition of 15 pieces was elaborated in collaboration with Loworks, a japonese graphic designer from Tokyo. The box is full with all the materials and accesories used for the making of home-print silkscreen with some extra bonus items as fluo and phospho inks.

Our friend Haruki is now preparing, from is flat in Fukuoka, a stunning new design for the next 15 Silk-Screen machine box Special japanese edition. The machine itself will be cast with fluorescent resin. In combination with the summer light, it will be the perfect therapy to stop any depressive state... See Loworks by Haruki.

Probably the more technic challenge ever done by elshopo, the collection of 22 glossy photographies silk-screened and mounted on plutonium (40x60cm) is shown at the spacejunk galerie, Grenoble. Work realised by B. Trichet, S. Solinas, S. Bourne and J. Cortial.

Elshopo and Biosphere have collaborated this weekend on an experimental cooking show, performed during the opening of Chantier Public, a new art-gallery in Lyon. Screen-printing on crepes, ham, mortadella, salad. The lucky guinea-pigs stuffed themselves for the cause of science.

APERITIF AT THE MAC-VAL
December the 16th, during the exhibition "Zones de Productivit?s Concert?es" at the MAC-VAL we organised a litte food printing party. The menu was quite experimental : COPYRIGHT crepes versus COPYLEFT crepes, or mortadella potlatch. The party's must-have was obviously the mortadella's slice assorted with pistachio ink cooked by the museum's chef. |

Presentation of the last generation of our screen-printing system on crepes, in Douarnenez, Britany. For this occasion, the Elshopo laboratory has shown an improvement in the printing quality and a superior gustatory quality, thanks to a collaboration with real craftsman of the breton crepe. Mar. 2005 - Elshopo atelier in Sapporo, Japan.
At the Akebono Center in Sapporo, Japan. It's in a former school recycled in artist residency. It keeps the typical japanese style of the 50's, ghosts seem to wander everywhere in the corridors and worms are swarming under the floor. But, the 5th and 6th of march, special week-end ! Enjoy many events at elshopo's atelier : quite tiring sticker printing-workshop all saturday, and quite toxic silk-screen show on sunday. Some pics there.
